Holiday Madness

Well, I've been both busy and lazy, hence no updates at the end of the year.

It's now 2006. Unemployment is a mixed bag of candy. On the one hand, the not having to work part has been really nice. I feel like the guy from Office Space. Having spend over a year without a job, I haven't really accomplished much of anything productive. This tells me that the natural profession that I would excel at is being a nobleman. On the other hand, not having any money also sucks.

I've been holding out on taking just any old job in the hopes that I could find something in my field without having to pick up and move. Either there just aren't many jobs here, or my lack of Microsoft certificates puts me at the bottom of the heap, or I've been blacklisted. In any case, I'm out of choices and will have to broaden my search again.
